out in the west we don't see that many 250X...mostly R's on the track. it will be interesting to see how many end up buying the 450x's for track use...yes track use. you'll see a few wr's on any given day at that track. (mx track)
I see quite a few. Where I ride there are about 10 to 1 ATVs to bikes but the bikes include probably 30% Hondas and the rest a combo of Suz, Yam, Kawa, and a couple KTMs. Of the Hondas, most are CRs. The CRFs are mostly 250Rs. I've seen two other 230Fs.
i was out at racetown here in socal and was absolutely surrounded by yamahahas! i went with a buddy who has one, we met up there with other friend who has one and then his friends came and all had one and then another group showed up and parked on the other side...all blue with the exception of a green machine. one guy called my '05 crf450r a boat anchor! of course every time i pulled in behind him on the track he pulled off! the first couple of times i shorted the track and located him and pulled in behind him and he'd pull off again. i guess he's got a boat anchor phobia...or could it be a phobia for the best motorcross bike period?
so this very blue day was an exception. most of the time i'd say it's about 35-40% hondas and the vast majority of them are crf's.
Lots and lots of Honda CRF's here in Michigan. The tracks are flooded with them. Up north still showing signs of the 2-stroke dominance (except for our group as of this spring). Soon to change though as most of the "up north crews" are goon riders on older machines.
Don't see too many blue thumpers here though...but I'm not crying about it.
hey this looks like a good thred, i think i'll bump it up to 2011. hondas are pretty comon where i live. around hear its alot of "honda only" familys. there are also afew yamaha or ktm only familys aswell. but iv never seen a kawi or suzuki only family b4
