got a question...I have a 50 with the BBR 82cc kit. I just recently got a new 20mm carburator for it. after installing it, i have a lot of hesitation and bogging as I go through gears and accelerate. I know I need to fine tune it, but where do I start. Jets? Float? All tips and help is much appreciated.

give us more information. did you have the 82cc kit installed and running well prior to the new 20mm carb? what kind of carb are we talking about? what kind of air filter setup do you have?

i'm guessing it's a jetting issue and that's where i'd start first.

after installing the 82 kit, it was fine, ran great. I got a 20mm keihin carb kit with a foam uni filter. Any suggestions on what size jet to use and at what setting?

jets are pretty inexpensive and it's very difficult to say if you're lean or rich...you might want to do the spark plug test to get a better idea and then go up/down one or two steps from where you are now and see if that makes any improvements.
