    crf 50 idling problem

    by help » Sun May 02, 2010 6:00 pm

I just put a new handle bars on my crf 50. I put on the new throttle and brakes. Now i cant keep the bike running when it is idling. Do i need to adjust the idle screw or something else? i can keep the bike running when the choke is on. could my gas and air mixture be to lean or rich?

try tightening up your throttle cable top of the handle bar. after i wrote you last i started messing around with it and loosing it fixed my problem of idling to high. so maybe tightening yours will help.
