cheapest way to get higher bars on CRF 50 ???

    by trk2ajk » Sat Feb 16, 2008 10:04 pm

hi, newbie here, first post. i bought two 07 crf50 for my daughters today. was going to get myself a 70 or slightly larger next week. just for casual trail riding.
after reading over this site, i am reconsidering, may just get a 3rd crf50 for myself (dealer has an 08 ). is there a cheaper way to get higher bars than buying a $200 plus kit. something like a new clamp and bars that will let you reuse factory controls? anyone near south ms. that has a used set of training wheels to sell or loan? dealer was selling the for $160 plus for set  but had none in stock (selling like hotcakes i am sure)
    thanks, tk
