just picked up a 1998 XR70 for my son and have a few ? about some stuff Im planning on doing

Im trying to make the 98 look like a newer xr/crf70

    will a xr50 seat fit?

    xr 50 tank?

looks like a newer tank on a 50 I seen on ebay is the same as a 70 and is going for cheap,or what year tank will bolt up to the 98 frame so I could use the newer tank side panels??

and where is a good place to et a new plastic set to make it look newer and what ever else i need for the makeover??

also looking for a aftermarket pipe for cheap..

any help appreciated and Thanks in advance!!!

Go to RonAyers.com, the parts fiche section, and look at part numbers for everything in question.

    Hey Ed, welcome aboard!
Sorry I have no answers for you, but you have come to the right place.
You will find this forum as useful to you for off road as the H.Org is for the Bus. Good people here too. We will have to get together to ride either on or off road this year. That indoor MX track in Hartford looks expensive, but excellent. Not many options here on LI for off road.
