Where are some of the better places to ride in east Houston? I've been to Outlaw Trax, but only as a guest. Any riders in the Houston area care to hook up and show me your stomping grounds? Thanks!

Hi Ed,
3 Palms Extreme park had 3 adult tracks, 1 supercross track, 2 peewee tracks, and 7 miles of trails.
I usually either ride the trails or the GP Track.

Super nice people.

Sam Houston National Forest has multi-use trails..however I have yet to be able to ride them as they are always closed (during hunting season i understand...but the last 3 weeks?)

Also a General Sams OffRoad Park out by Huntsville that's supposed to be a lot of fun. Although it looks like its more for ATV's and trucks than bikes.

absolutely... I'm usually riding somewhere just about any old time.. getting my son into it.. usually pretty easy to find me out at 3 Palms.. I'm always parked out in the very back next to the GP track, only white truck with RedneckYardGames.com on the back window (not the blue or red ones)
I know it's not exactly east Houston , but its a great facility.
Thinking of setting up a trip with my buddy to try and hit the new track out by Bedias, Texas , make a weekend out of it.

That sounds like a neat place. Is 3 Palms worth the $80.00 a month? Sounds kinda high. I see on their site they're going to add yearly rates which will be discounted. I'm still looking for a pipe for the 230...the guy you saw with the Big Gun race...was it too loud in your opinion for woods/trail riding? Thanks and hope to meet up with you soon! :D

Depends on how much you ride.
Im there every other day it seems.. so yeh its worth it to me. (course im 15 minutes from it too).
You don't have to get the $80 membership... its $15 per rider (free for non-riders) per day.. and as long as you keep your wrist band on.. you can leave and come back the same day.

heres another compiled list of tracks and trails around Tx:
