    Kentuck ORV
    just south of Anniston
    a clay/woods white 6mi + blue 2mi trail leaving from the trailhead
a sandy red 6mi + a sand/wood yellow 6mi trail loop off the white trail

    been there Saturday
it had been raining for weeks and the white and blue trail were all of puddles and slick as §$%@
the red and yellow only had some puddles
by noon the white and blue had mostly dried and red and yellow were dusty

thankfully only a few riders where there, the trails are all 2-way traffic and very easy, so they are either boring or fast and dangerous
the mix of quads, papa with the kiddies, some wannabee MXer on the gas and lots of dust can be fatal

nothing technical at all, a beginners trail if you can go there during the week or very early on the weekend
mostlikely we will not be back, it's not worth the two hour-drive from Atlanta

    The Ridge

    by Gordon » Sat Sep 25, 2004 10:09 pm

At $15 per rider per day, $250 a year, or $400 per family, The Ridge is pretty expensive for 400 acres, but it may someday be all we have. Right now, our Huntsville club has over 4000 acres in Tennessee, and it costs only $40 a year to join the club. Sadly the area is 90 minutes NW of Huntsville.

I live in Huntsville Alabama and have been looking for some time for a place to meet riders!!

    What a small world!

I am looking to purchase either a CRF450X or a KTM450 EXC, although the CRF seems to be the better (more reliable) bike and the way I will more than likely go.

I am currently building a house but that should be complete by Jan. so in Late Jan. or early feburary I will be getting me a new bike. What are the rules for joining this club? What is the average age as I am 26 and have been out of riding dirtbikes for a while (rode 4x4 atv's mostly).
