I am just getting back into the racing scene after taking 3 years off, i have a few people that still ride, and they race the Ohio CRA series, is there anyone in the forum from PA District 5? I live right by the Pittsburgh Intl. Airport.

I AM MYSELF TRYING TO GET BACK TO RACING HARE SCRAMBLES IN DIST. 5. RIGHT NOW I AM JUST GETTING USED TO MY NEW 450 AND SETTING IT UP FOR OFFROAD RIDING. RIGHT NOW THE WAY IT LOOKS I WILL BE GETTING BACK IN SHAPE DOING ALOT OF LOCAL RIDING. I PLAN TO ATTEND THE WISP GNCC AS I DO EVERY YEAR. LAST YEAR I FINISHED 12TH IN OPEN C ON MY XR 400. THE ONLY RACE I RAN LAST YEAR. I AM FROM THE SOUTH HILLS AREA. BALDWIN AND BRENTWOOD.

jut 8...how's the acl doing? I hope u didn't quit the whole thing and sold everything yet!!

Yeah, i guess i kind of over reacted. I am keeping the
450, i am just going to go to practice tracks, no racing
right now, the surgery is scheduled for June 14th. I was
actually out on the 450 in the trails yesterday, not doing
anything crazy, just crusing around, everything felt OK,
but not 100%. My brother and i are going to try to go out
this weekend if we can. The doctor doing the surgery is a
pretty good sports doctor, he said he is doing a new
"braceless" style surgery, and that i will be riding again
100% in 4 months or less if i keep to his rehab program,
one of my students went to him when he tore his ACL, and
he was racing again in 2 1/2 months, so i hope im as luck
as he was!
