over the hill gang motocross club will be doing the bay area chapter nationals at the infamous hollister hills grand prix track september 9-10!!! be there or be square!! me and my 09 crf450x will be there to race!!

What track do you race on? The one with the huge jumps?

i wish i could make it. sounds like a blast!
i had all of two dirt bike trips when i was a kit...one was to Hollister Hills OHV park. I was probably about 11-12 (1971-72) and it was an awesome experience. i remember they had a hill climb called "The Wall" i think. it was vertical at the top and had more of a landing pad then crest. we made friends with the ranger and he opened some gates for us and we ended up going way into the back woods. i remember lots of mexican moss hanging from the trees and thick wooded forests. it was incredible. one of these days i have to get back there. i'm sure it's changed tons since then.

the grand prix track is not at the same location as the ohv park. it is up the road about a mile from the main ohv gate. the gp track is only used for special races a few times a year. it is an awesome fast motocross track!

29 riders signed up in the 45+ novice class. saturday moto 1: finished 10th(fell down) and moto2: 12th(fell down again!) dammit! sunday moto 1: led a lap and a half after a great start finishing 5th. moto 2: finished 6th for an overall of 6th for the weekend. if i didnt crash in both saturdays motos, i could of podiumed!!!

good job! sounds like you have a great time! crashing does seems to negatively impact your finishing position.
