Congratulations on your win Pat they do feel good huh!you rode A smart race and the pay-off was 1st place 8)

Awesom job on your first expert race Anthony, wow 3rd place! You've been riding really smart this year, keep it up!

Hey Pete(elmo450x)thanks A million for taking your gascap vent tube off your bike and putting it on mine without hesitation, that means alot to me.I was at the starting line for my race when I felt something cold in my crotch area and realized I lost my gascap vent tube. Anyway I got A decent start and was having fun just settling into A pace trying to work through the arm-pump and Mike showed me six fingers,I thought whoa im not running as good as I thought, but was actually having fun.By the third lap I had worked up to third and had picked up my pace A bit.At the beggining of the fourth lap A guy in my class passed me and gapped me A bit,so I put my head down and found the zone!I had closed on his rear wheel coming down the last downhill before the finish and when we hit the fast but rough whooped section rite before the finish shoot I opened up the mighty X and got by about 200 feet before the checkered flag for A third place!Im stoked to be getting back to where I know I should be.

Congrats to all the finishers Haley,Olivia,Charlie,Jason, robbie, walkmnn,Ray,Anthony,Pat and sorry if I missed A few but im bad with names. Thanks to the pit and support crew PT,Mom & Dad,Mike,Debra,Michele, and the rest, but mostly thanks to just hangin with some of the coolest people in the dez :D

    round 2

The weather was great with it just raining the night before but it did end up getting a little dusty but not too bad. The sun came out and it as perfect for a race, had and ok start off the line and was in 4th off the start. Rode in 4th place the first 2 laps, couldn't find a spot to pass 3rd but finally did and stayed there the rest of the race. Started to catch up to 2nd and 1st but fell short on the 4th lap and just cruised in. Thanks to all the CRFrs out there for the support. The first race was good too with everyone finishing good without any crashes. Thanks for the great motor and suspension for the great mechanic work, and to michele and my family for all of their support and to all of the CRFrs out there.

Well it was a very good race for me. The speed of this race was crazy fast. I had an alright start bout 10th coming into the first turn after the bomb, picked off a few more before the lil jump someone made. Going at a good clip after that first hard sandy right and who do i see yet again flyinryan. man you get good starts! gave him a lil sand blasting lol and rode hard. man i was feelin it! saw desertracer (he has the helmet cam post) pickin up his bike after his lil get off and he gets going right behind me across the fast lil valley with left hand sweeper and i'm gone...the 450x is made for that stuff. Made it to the finish lap 1 had to wait to get coaded behind 10 or so bikes. i had passed alot of bikes on the first lap. it did not take too long for dave to get me out. I did not have the log jam that most had. Now back out for lap two runnin fast and smart and just feelin it. pickin off a lot of bikes, big smile on my face. then i came up that lil hill with the rocks and right hand turn on it with two guy that fell over. pickin up the bikes so i went low and low sided it bending my shifter into the case. Get going and realize i can't shift up. i'm in 2nd gear wtf look down see the prob stop jump off and put it in 4th and rode like that till the last hill before the finish and people on top were tellin people to slow as someone went over the rocks and i down shifted. oh no (bent shifter i can down shift but not up) so now in 2nd or 3rd gear i drop down the fast strait to the finish bouncing off the rev lol. Not sure but looks like a top 5 finish in class if the guy who told me counted right. Thanx Dave and crew and all the racers for the great weekend. The F-ers put it down this weekend good job guys.
