    Georgia Hare Scrambles?

    by RedTillIDie » Thu Jan 31, 2008 8:26 am

Hey guys, I am new to the racing world and I was wondering if anyone knows how to get into Hare Scrambles and racing. I have a CRF250X and I have been riding for a year and several people have told me I should do woods racing. If anyone has or knows any information about them it would be great to hear from you.

    Thanks

If you want some fun and not GNCC hard races, which you be best for your first time, there is SORCS.

In this series you don`t have to join AMA, contact Tammy at 706-847-6132 or go to SORCS.net.

All the races but one are in Georgia.

I`m not sure where Dawsonville is put you should check out this place, http://www.highlandparkresort.com/ It has some good harescamble trails, if you like these you`ll like harescramble. Although they have some of their single tracks closed right now.

You should also check this site out http://www.georgiaoffroad.com/ lots of racers there.

You should also check out floridatrailriders.org

They are the second largest in the country, behind the GNCC series. I would say that half of the HS races are in north FL. The next race is actually right on the border in pinetta, FL, you should check it out. PM me for any details, I am an open book.

Wow, its a small world, my sister and her family live in Dawsonville. I was thinking about taking my CRF down there for a week during the summer. So if you find any sweet trails or anything you should let me know.
