    Des Nations...

    by crfsonly » Mon Sep 25, 2006 2:34 pm

Ok...so the U.S. team won. that's great but unfortunately they did it by not winning a SINGLE moto. you know that would not have been the case if Ricky had been healthy. even still i'm very disappointed that james wasn't able to win his motos. i'm wondering now what the issue really is...motivation, concussions, conditioning, or what? i think most of the motocross world is more surprised by everts defeating stewart than had the results been reversed.

even still, des nations is a team effort and the u.s. team won based on consistent finishes. congrats to them all.

I think Ricky would have won his motos and Everts would've placed. Bubba would've had some 3rd's.

The result would have the US still taking first place but with a much greater margin of Victory.

i'm hoping that milsaps works like a mad man in the "off season" and gets his condition in the RC-zone. he as able to run the pace that RC and Stewart ran but he just couldn't do it the entire race. next year in the nationals he's the only one i see being able to give james a run for it.
