    '05 SX season...

    by crfsonly » Sun Nov 28, 2004 8:55 pm

ok.....the '05 SX season promises to be one of the best ever...here's a couple of questions.

    1. who is going to walk away with the 250cc championship?
    2. who will play the spoiler in the 250cc class?
    3. who will be the biggest surprise of the season?
    4. who will be the biggest disappointment?
    5. who will win the 125cc class?
    6. which manufacturer will come out on top in both classes?

feel free to add your own questions...

    1. Ricky Carmichael
    2. what do you mean by "spoiler"?
    3. James Stewart... I have talked to people who think he will get smoked in the 250's, but i say he will be somewhere on the podium. I will be surprised if so.
    4. Kevin Windham... he gets worse every year, although his bike is going to have much improvements...
    5. Ivan Tedesco
    6. Kawasaki... I.C.=125 /J.S.=250

great takes speedracer...by "spoiler" i mean a rider that may not be in contention for a championship but somehow interferes with someone who is...by winning a race, taking a contender out, or just slowing up a contender by racing hard with them early.

reason i ask is this year we could FINALLY have a very close points season between the top three riders. every position in every race could make a huge difference. with a couple of very fast 'rookies' in the 250cc class one could be the spoiler...either in a race or races...one or more could be the 'X' factor for who wins the championship.

i figure it will come out something like this..

    1. Ricky Carmichael
    2. Chad Reed
    3. James Stewart
    4. Mike Larocco
    5. Kevin Windham
    6. Jeremy Mcgrath
    7. Sebastien Tortelli
    8. David Vuillemin
    9. Ezra Lusk
    10. Sean Hamblin

    top ten in 250cc_________

I dont know, come to think of it, YAMAHA!!! Yamaha has Mike Brown in the 125cc and Chad Reed in 250cc... anything could happen, if Tedesco gets hurt, theres Brown's chance... if Carmichael gets hurt, theres Reed's chance! anything can happen! yamaha could really step up with those two riders.
