Shorty lost his Factory Honda. Would have been nice to see him step in on Windham's Gieco bike, but that won't happen. Who will he ride for at Oakland?

i see the Geico ride as a possibility. with Kevin's retirement they need a 450 rider and Andrew is currently seventh in points. seems like a good fit for both. what would keep Shorty or Geico from putting something together?

I'm thinking maybe Reed, TWO/TWO, Bel-Ray, would put up some money to get him a ride for remainder of season. We'll see.

Reed is possible...they have full factory bikes and it wouldn't take much for them to put together a bike he could ride well. not sure how much the money plays at this point as i'm not yet sure exactly what happened that caused this shutdown and what that means to Shorty from a contract/pay standpoint. hopefully, he'll get picked up. i love seeing him race.

He still has a bike, it's just been "re-possessed" by Factory Honda till some one puts up some money for it. We're just waiting to see who that might be.

that was an amazing ride for an essentially stock bike that he picked up on Thursday. yeah it helped that some of the riders that usually finish ahead of him DNF'd or were at the rear of the pack after that first lap pile up. good job Shorty!
