Anyone know what Speed plans to do with the coverage of Daytona? The TV schedule shows it starts at 8pm. The AMA event schedule says that the heats start at 7:15 or so. Is the TV coverage going to be delayed an hour? Ugghhh...like trying to nail down Jello. J/k...

Seriously though, anyone know whats up with the TV schedule?

124,

Speed has it starting at 8 p.m. eastern and broadcasting until 10 p.m.. I believe the race was supposed to be on Friday and they switched the races with the superbikes so they could race under the lights.

Thats my point. Daytona is usually broadcasted live. The TV schedule shows 8pm est. The heats start at around 7:15pm...hence my confusion.

Denny Hartwig won't return my phone calls/e-mails...

I had plans to attend until they switched the nights, 16 hours in the car is one thing but with bike week and all there is no room at the inn and Saturday would be one long day after sleeping in the car.

Unbelievable! Seems the stars aligned for Lawrence ... impressive. Have to admit this was the first time ever that I have been rooting for Reed though :D

That was awesome.
It should show the young man that with focus and training he can run with anyone. Wow.
Stewart comtinues to show me that he's really fast and really dumb. How many times is he going to tuck his front wheel ?
He reminds me of the ultra talented pitcher on Bull Durham who nobody could hit....until he started thinking
Reed has impressed me with his speed, smoothness, and personality 180.
Just think , Lawerence was just one slip up from Reed away from WINNING the thing ! Wow.
That track was too tough for that to be a fluke. Doug

I wish J Law could have pulled off a win! Cocky, mouthy, but able to back it up too!!!

Great race! Quite the pile up in the 1st corner, thanx to Stewart lol.

Glad to see the punk didn't win, I would have given up on the series.

Highlight of the night? When Milsaps creamed Alessi. That was just not right. Racing is racing but I would have had a few harsh words for Davi at the end of it all.

Good to see Reed is now in "the zone". I think he's in James' head.

I wasn't suprised at Lawrence , he has always been fast , but I think he just decided to focus

Stewarts mishap at the start was the bike setup , i think his front is too soft again , that is making his front tuck , with the longer rake of the Yamaha , it gives it push , they are softening up the front for the rough tracks and its hurting his aggressive style

Reed , ....just lucked out , PERIOD !! , as usual , he only wins when Stewart crashes . its his only hope and he just plain lucked out , he was still slower than Stewart in the main , Stewarts bike was bent up pretty bad , and he was still faster than Reed.....it's really quite simple , Stewart crashes , Reed wins , Stewart does not crash , Stewart WINS !!........The newbie Lawrence almost beat Reed :D .......Don't like him , don't think he's fast , his only claim to glory is when the fast guys are out........ , Reed is like NASCAR , Waaaay over hyped , there are tons of riders with way more talent , some are privateers , pretty sad he got a ride and they didn't............just my opinion!.....I say they should have RED flagged the race , and re-run the race , just like they did with the East Coast Lites before , let them line up head to head again with Stewart on a fixed bike , Reed would NOT have a chance against Stewart.... :x .I demand a re-count...........

I realy wished J-Law would have won..Just because
I like when all the haters get all worked up about him and are all pissed off.

I think J Law is a steaming pile of Pelosi...but damn that kid's got talent...natural ability...whatever you want to call it.
Too bad he's not paired up with Roger D. It's gonna take someone like him to focus the kid and he would be unstopable.
