Looks like Reeds Glory days are coming to an end as tonight he shares the points lead with James Stewart. According to the lap chart Reed had no excesses tonight. http://home.ama-cycle.org/prorace/racer ... e=m&rnum=1

Looks like Grant Crashed or DNF? Which is unfortunate but now shorts on the podium. So Honda is having a party tonight.

What are your thoughts on the outcome of the race guys? share your info and opinions!

Again I was Happy to see Stewart on the top , the guy has the heart and the drive and the confidence , where Reed has seemed to "Settle" for seconds as his goal of podium finishes has not once been on the top step

Shorty is still humble and even apologising for bumping someone for a position, again he deserves what he is getting in finishes , Alessi is still fading back , but I know he has the speed , but he just seems to be a little uncomfortable with his agressivness yet , would have liked to see him in 3rd , but he's getting faster and more confident each race.

RV is starting to learn that speed isn't what makes u fast , it's knowing when to go fast and when not to !

It was funny that on AMA supercross Online it said
"While Reed challenged Stewart during the first half the race he was unable to progress past him, but acknowledged he was not deterred and said there was still a long way to go in the championship."

Ummmm ! , Reed lost pace with stewart after the first lap and dropped to 8+sec by the end , that is challenging him??? lol . maybe since he was at the same track on the same day , they thought he was challenging him , i think Emig would have a better chance at challenging Stewart than Reed would at this point...and he could most likely do it while still holding his mic, and commentating while he's passing Reed, as Reed only had 1 lap that he was faster than Stewart and it was only 2/10ths and it was only 1 lap ,

Unfortunately I had to watch on TV instead of being there , my biggest thought about the race , or all of them for that matter , is that even though it was on CBS it was still covered by Speed Channel , and in 25 minutes of coverage there was 15 minutes of commercials , and only highlights from heat 2 and only results from the LCQ...if they would put 1/10th the coverage that they do for Nascrap into SX or MX it would be more popular for the mainstream , in a 1hour program I only saw 25 minutes of racing action , where as Nascrap gives 4 boring hours and lap by lap coverage of left turns...pisses me off !!

Other than that , the race was fun to watch and had a few suprises
and i was dissapointed that Carpenter didnt make the main . he is another class act , that has the heart like Stewart and Short , and i was also dissapointed Josh Grant didn't finish either..................Havn't watched the Lites yet(they are on around 4 or 5 today) , but i looked at the results, was a little dissapointed with the results , but .....I wont spoil it for those that were not there and havn't watched it yet !

Shorty's my man. He deserves the success and won't be long until he challenges Reed for 2nd. Reed is just settling for 2nd. He's got more talent and ability than he's showing which leads me to believe it's all in Reed's head!

Reed absolutely faded quick after him and Bubba were 1 and 2. I think the first lap he was 1.5 seconds behind and by the end Bubba was like 9 or more seconds in front of him.

Bubba is without question the man! Guy is blazing with no hopes of finishing 2nd anytime soon.

Alessi has got to be the fastest starter, but poorest finisher in the sport. The guy just can't maintain the speed and aggressiveness for more than a 1/2 lap to start. It's pathetic!

there can be no doubt about james being faster than reed. reed got the start he's been saying he needed to beat james. the last thread of hope reed was previously clinging to was his faster lap times...well even that is now gone. i've maintained that james has been protecting his lead EARNED at the start so why match reed's lap times if you can win anyways. last night james had to ride to create the separation and did so the old fashion way...one lap at a time.

chad is very fortunate that james crashed out of A1 or james would have a commanding points lead. if they don't ryan will.

shorty is getting faster each week. milsaps too. i'm looking for one of them to beat chad soon.

With you on Carpenter Jim ... very personable and genuine. Glad to see Canard win his heat also ... seems like another of the good ones.

Did Lawrence show up and wander the pits for autographs?

What rider in his right mind would give his autograph to Lawrence???

I'd be scared he would use it for some "identity theft" shenanigans...
