Can anybody update me (the rest of us) on how the outdoor series is progressing? The one time I found it scheduled and recorded it, I ended up with the some bigfoot search instead. It cracks me up how the hot dog eating contest, spelling bee, and every other contest that's not really a sport gets air time over one of the most demanding and got to have the crazy gene to participate sports in the world.

it's beyond me to understand why motocross doesn't get more play on tv while the soap box derby championships is rerun over and over again. don't even get me started on spelling bees and bowling.

in any event here are the current standings. in the 250cc class, RC with a near perfect season all wins with the exception of a second in one moto continues to dominate. He was fastest in practice today with Stewart trailing about a second plus per lap.

in the 125 class, it's brownie on top with a comfortable lead. much more parity in the 125cc class then the 250cc class. actually some great racing going on in this class.

You can always check out the details by clicking on "Race Results" up top...here's the link:

i know i've said it before...but, what was honda thinking by not giving up the cash to ricky?
