Will it be as good? Can anybody challenge Reed?

K-Dub, Hot Sauce, Alessi...now's the time to step up.

The whole sport needs a bunch of new faces. Maybe with Bubba gone, we'll see some?

If Justin Barcia the kid from the 150R commmercials moves up to the lites class next year we will defiantly see some good racing. I watched him at the Winter Ams this weekend that kid is ridulously fast! Rides his CRF250R like a 2 smoke WAO bouncing off the rev limiter the whole track.

yea i seen his commercial
i dont like him
hes too smug
he needs to thank some of his sponsers and stuff
and from the commercial i saw hes not that fast
id like to see him race the sx with a 450 against all the 450 riders

It appeared to me that Reed had stepped his game up enough to be competitive with Bubba. Now that Bubba is gone, I am in hopes that some of the other guys will take this gift and decide that they actually have a chance. Windham is doing better this year. I have been much more impressed with Short than Tadesco. Alessi needs to put more effort into staying in front with those hole shots he always gets. Langston has looked bad, but he has had two mechanicals now. At Anaheim 2 he was running on a almost flat back tire.

The 250 class is where the real action is. If you don't believe that, just watch the Phoenix lites. Incredible racing.

I hope Bubba not turn out to be another Damon Bradshaw... fast, but minimal titles (None in the case of Bradshaw). Reed is clearly the fastest in the field now, so the real racing is in the Lites class. I would love to see a whole series without the East/West split. I can't wait to see Poto, Dungey, Lawrence, and Townley on the same track, but I may have to wait until summer.

At Anaheim 2 we asked Townley what were his plans after he is finished healing. He said he is going to skip the lites and start into the 450 class. That will be this Supercross season according to him.

Right there with you Joe on the Phoenix Lites .... amazing race, loved it.

I am sure the wisdom of another year for Villopoto in the lites is on the money, but I sure would love to see him in there spanking Reed ... I think he is the one that could do it. Not sure if I agree Reed stepped up enough to hang with Stewart if Stewart was healthy ...

I agree that the main event is the Lites this year.

See some of you in Anaheim later today perhaps.

We'll be parking at your facility somewhere between 11:30am and noon! :)

you gonna tailgate over there or head to the pits and track? I have actually been parking at a buddy's business on the other side of the stadium, just before you go under the overpass at the back entrance this year ... previously parked at the same location you do and hung at my buddys little rv in the parking lot, but at $150 (for a single parking spot mind you - little van type chassis mount rv), we decided against parking in there for the first time in at least a decade.

I'm with you supporting Carpenter, seems like a very nice guy. My son goes to school in his hometown of Ithaca, NY and Paul always remembers him (last several years) when we stop by his pit at Anaheim's opening round (Christmas break for Jr) and takes time to exchange a few pleasantries.
