On my 2008 CRF450r I pulled out the oil drain bolt (longer one) and found some aluminum threads attached to the bolt.

I read somewhere a while ago that you are able to use a slightly longer bolt.

Does anyone have any information on this?

Hoping to find what the longest bolt you can install is and what the exact specs are or where you can buy the bolt.

Note: I was able to get the bolt in and have it seal. I’m just nervous about future oil changes
