    2011 Crf450R Top-end rebuild and now won't start

A friends 2011 CRF450R intake valves were shot so I replaced them along with a new piston and cam chain. Now I can't get the damn thing to start! Timing is dead on (checked 3 times), valve clearances are within spec (checked 3 times), fuel. pump works (hooked the tank up to a 9v) However I haven't checked it for debris etc.

I believe I got a bad spark plug (NGK as spec'd by the manual) as it has a weak spark. The old spark plug has a bright blue spark.

I've checked stator resistance and it's 1.9, ignition coil is 2.9. but I haven't not checked in peak voltages. The bike does have the Yoshimura PIM-2 and I've tried with and without. The lights do come on, on the PIM-2 when I kick the starter.

I've tried some starting to fluid to find if it's a fuel related problem and had no luck with that method. I'm fairly certain it's an electrical issue at this point. He claims the bike ran but was hard to start (because of the very tight valves)

Anyone have any words of wisdom?
