New to forums hope this isn't an annoying repeat question. So I bought a 2008 crf450r. Has a full yoshimura exhaust. According to their website chart they only made RS-2 exhaust (whether it's slip on or full) for 06-08. i need a spark arrestor for it. I can find the insert for the RS-2 exhaust it would need but it says it's a 1.5" pipe and mine measures at 2". That's where I'm confused, don't want to buy it and it be wrong. Theres a sticker on it that says spark arrester model # TEC-SD and they all have numbers on them so not sure which one it is. I will put pictures when I get home. Also, say I buy it and it's too small can I just fabricate it up to make it fit into the exhaust?

Search for 2255503 if you have a full system or 2255703 if you have a slip-on. You'll see the Yosh part numbers for the Spark Arrestor and the Quiet Insert that are compatible. Make sure you have the Yosh exhaust model and is the correct CRF model and model year of your CRF. If you need a source for this spark arrestor let me know and I can add it to our catalog.
