So ive seen some of the other post about this but most of them are older bikes.

The other day i dropped the bike on its right side while going through a 2nd gear tight corner. i did a nice pirouette trying to walk it out(lol) and the bike sat on its side running at idle. after i grabbed my marbles and picked up the bike i noticed a good amount of oil dumped out of the air box and on to the swing arm. The bike still starts and runs fine. its not burning oil. and the bike only has about 10-15 rides on it. Im a beginner to intermediate rider. so im not on the Rev limiter much at all. the drain tubes were full of oil.

Is it due to being on its side? did i add too much oil?(im usually pretty OCD about changing and filling it up perfectly. i rode it a bit and didnt see anymore come out. even laid it on its side, and nothing.

Its a new bike so i dont want to cause any further damage.

No damage has been done due to the oil flowing through the vent hoses.
Get the Applied Crankcase Bypass Kit installed on your bike, and you will never again get motor oil directed into airbox.
Stock venting allows oil driplets and vapors to enter the fuel/air intake, even when running upright, causing hesitation and bogging, mostly on rough sections like jump faces and harsh landings, or whoops.
