    Pilot Jet Kit?

    by Jason » Tue Feb 28, 2006 3:01 pm

    Hey Ken,

What about a pilot jet kit to go along with the others? I think it would be something that a lot of people would buy. The dealer wants $8 a jet.

    jason,

the interesting thing about the jd jetting kit is they don't need pilot jet adjustments. this is something that is a result of his custom tapered needles. do you have the jd jetting kit?

I have the JD kit but this winter (which seems to be over know) the bike runs a little lean at idle when it's 60 or below. I adjusted the fuel screw until it was almost 3 turns out to get it to run normal. Now that it's in the 80's (90 once already) it's not an issue. I just want a range of them to put in the box in case I needed them.
