great news for all of us who enjoy crf's only message board and online store. we have migrated to a new service provider and have a faster and more reliable environment. we appreciate you patience through this migration and for the downtime it has caused.
there are a few risidual issues we are working on. we'll continue to do all we can to make sure your online experience with crf's only is great.
thanks for your support.

besides being on a faster server and with a more stable provider we'll also have more direct control if server does need some "encouragement". we've also invested in around the clock proactive and reactive server managment. we are committed to do all we can to make crf's only available and performing well 24x7.
any feedback on performance? we're hoping it's noticable at your end.

Well, it's great to just have it available! I was getting sick of seeing those database errors. I remember the old days when we were thankful that it took
only
5 minutes to download the latest nudie girl photo.
Thanks for upgrading and changing providers. I know it isn't easy or cheap. I'm sure things will be great!

So far I have noticed it is cosiderably faster to get to the site. and seems to navigate faster. Some my argue the changes are much like the exhuast system a mental advantage but I think I see definate performance increase.

spring break is partly to blame...but also, not everyone's ISP updates their nameservers as quickly as they should. i know of sever regulars who are still having a hard time finding us at this new IP address. after tomorrow i would think the entire world would be able to resolve to our new address.
