    Honda CRF 110 transmission problem

    by shoza » Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:33 pm

    Hello,
My son has a CFR 110 and it started to not go into 1st gear i hear a click but its still in neutral .
A second attempt to sift it gets into 1st gear or sometimes two attempts .

I have replaces the oil and adjusted the clutch but it still does it .

Not sure if they have been to hard on the gears and bend something or clutch

Hi shoza, welcome to the site.
    What year is the bike?
Is the shift lever tight on the shaft? Sometimes they come loose and don't shift properly. Has the bike fallen on the left side - it may have bent a fork inside the box.

It starts,it runs,it gets to where all CRFs can get to without the valve or valve plate dramas

I know this is an old post, but I’m hoping the original poster can provide a follow up to the actual cause of the problem and how it was resolved.

My son has a 2018 CRF125FB (Big Wheel) and has the exact problem. I can’t find anything online that describes this issue exactly how it’s described in this post. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I was having this same problem. Here is what I did to fix it. I used this YouTube video on how to adjust the clutch, mine was way out of spec. Super simple and easy.
