All mods for the 05 and back will work on the 06.

Only change made in the 06 model is the electric start.

Because the 06 has an electric start and a charging system the rev may be different for the 06.

The rev box is the worst place to spend money. It does very little to nothing at all.

    Open your airbox - free
    Change to a better filter - $20.00
Power up or JD jetting kit - $ 60.00

    Remove exhaust baffle - free
    or
    Aftermarket Exhaust -$ 250.00

Start spending on these items first, you'll get the biggest bang for the buck here.

I have a 06 and there are pleanty of mods to do, but most of them are not cheap. One that I haven't seen in this tread is get rid of the stock tires. If you do the mods mentioned by ~ and maybe gear up the back 1-2 teeth it should help some. Depending on your weight look at getting stiffer springs. I got a tip from ebeck about installing a battery charger plug with a cap and it makes it nice not having to take out the battery all the time. don't leave the key on or the batt. will die

If you want more, then call engines only. I have the 225 kit in mine and it rips. I have the cr85 front end and I have just ordered the works shock for the rear and a Barnett clutch. I know it will be a stable and fast ride.

Welcome to CRF's!!!! Nice to have you here.

I agree with the battery charger. Ken sells the kits here to install the permanent leads. I think they are Yuasa.

Now we need to get Ebeck over here and off of that other site.

Thanks, your the one who mentioned it, so I checked it out. Ebeck and you have made a difference in my choices. I am out for two months. Just had shoulder surgery, time to order parts and break out the tooth brush and give her a good cleaning. I am regreasing almost anything I can.

We both have the CR85 conversions already done. I'm not sure what your statement is regarding as there are no questions about it in this thread.
