crf front end conversion

I have a 2003 crf150 and just bought forks & triple clamps off a 2006 cr85expert, then ran into a problem. The stem of the 85 is shorter than the 150 which makes the top clamp unable to bolt on. Can the 85 stem be replaced for a longer one?

Contact Reger Engineering. They do the stem conversion for $ 60.00 I believe.
