Do the BBR springs make the suspension more motocross like? i want to set up my crf150 suspension to be like a cr85, what can i do?

What do the springs actually do?

Also, do the CR85 rear shock fit into a CRF150?

Depending on your weight the BBR springs may be too stiff and they will overwhelm the wimpy damping rates of the stock forks. You can modify your forks with race tech gold valve cartridge emulators or, you can try adding a stack of washers to increase the preload to your stock forks springs and changing to a heavier oil like 15 wt. A lot depends on how much money you want to spend.

As far as the CR85 shock, you can modify it to fit but the spring and damping rates will be wrong since the 150 is quite a bit heavier than the CR85. You'll have to find a heavier spring and have a suspension shop modify the shock to work properly on the 150.
