question regarding the carb needle

What is the difference between the stock needle and the one listed on the jetting chart at Big Guns website (pn# 16012-KPS-921)? The reason I ask is I just installed a Big Gun exhaust and a Twin Air filter, rejetted with a 110 (I ride at altitudes, that's why I didn't go with a 115) and moved the clip down one position on the stock needle. Do I need to get that other needle?

Don't think you NEED a new needle. With the new exhaust, you'll need to run a little richer and by raising the clip position, you've already accomplished that. If you're still a little lean, I'd go ahead and get the next size needle rather than raising your stock clip any further.

how's the off-idle throttle response? if it's not bogging then you're at least not too rich. at the altitude you're running i'd be suprised if you're lean. how's the motor running?

I will tell you tomorrow afternoon, I haven't rode the bike yet since the mods.

Finally went riding today, the bike runs great!!

Throttle response is amazing, acceleration is alot quicker now. Exhaust is alot louder, I used to hear my buddy on his TTR125L when he was near me, not now. I checked my plug after 1/2 hour into the ride and it was dark brown, almost black so I think the jetting is dialed. I posted a photo in the photo album "your ride" section, check it out.
