hi steven...welcome to the group! it is a great bike and you'll grow to love it. have a great time with it and let us know if we can answer any questions for you.

unfortunately, the answer to your first question is no, we don't ship to austrailia. at least not right now.

um i am not really sure at all he just said u need to buy the disc's and he also the hardest bi9t is getting ride of the drum and also getting the foot peadal to conect to the wire for the brake(requires welding) so i dont know. um y do u want a disc i personly love the rear drum because if u do stop it it doesn't send u into a total spin

WOW! Maybe you could find out how they did the conversion where they got the components etc and post the info. Maybe the supplier there can ship to the USA. (Nothing personal Ken) I'm sure there is at least one more of us that would be interested in converting our 150/230 rear to a disc.
What would be the possibility/feasaility of you having a state side member purchase something thru Ken and having the member ship it to you. Kind of a back door approach and maybe a little time and money involved, but if that is your only source; what the heck. Hell Oldtimer wants to be a distributor, maybe they will ship to or friends in Canada eh!

Then whats the point in converting to disc when the stock drum works better. The only way i would put a disc conversion on my bike was if someone from australia gave us the part numbers for there stock rear disc brake...

would be a mission to do anyway.. you would have to get a hub and then respoke your whell to fit it.drum brakes still work good anyway so why bother??.

For all of you in Australia. Ken is great, he can't ship everywhere in the world. If you have it shipped to my house here in Southern California, and pay for the shipping I will forward it to you. This is no scam. If you can get your stuff from someone who will ship to Australia at a better price than here at crfsonly by all means do so. If you have any questions PM me or send me an e-mail. I want nothing in return for the help. Just trying to help fellow MX fanatics.
