Fork guards removal and replacement.CRF 150f

My fork guards are ripping pretty badly. So i was wondering if there are any upgrades that are more durable or if you need them at all.Thanks
Daystar makes nice fork protectors. Although not listed in the 150F store here, send Ken a PM and he can get them for you. They are easy to replace. Just drop the forks out of the triple clamps loosen the clamps holding the protectors on and slide them off. Do you need them. No you don't but you expose your forks to unnecessary damage from roost and dirt which can cause seal failure
