    2006 CFR150F idling problem

I went to pick up a CRF 150F for my son. It was purchased new and hasn't been ridden for a while. It looks like it was well maintained. The problem is that it will only idle with the choke on. When you take it off (down) it stalls right out even after warming. The idle screw is turned the whole way in. I declined to buy it based on the fact it won't idle. The bike was cold when I looked at it and not previously started prior to my arrival.

It's a 2006 and I offered $1550 for it. I suspect the pilot circuit/jet is clogged from sitting. A new Carb is $250ish and a rebuild kit is around $50.

Do you think this is the most likely cause for it not idling?

Clean out the carb right there on the spot and it should idle better, also remember to blow out all the holes in the jets with compressed air.

I bought the bike and cleaned the carb. It runs but wont start with the choke on. It only starts with the choke off or halfway. It idles normally when cold but speeds up after it warms up.

I'm going to just rebuild the whole carb.
