    CRF150F rear shock?

    by PondaRed » Thu Aug 01, 2013 5:58 am

Anybody put on a good rear shock on the back? Racetech has a GS-3 unit but it is $650 and does not have a lot of features.

I dont want to upgrade to a R to get better suspension. The CRF150F, is perfect, except for the suspension.

Early XR600 remote reservoir shocks work very well. The hose between the shock and reservoir needs to be replaced with a longer unit A good hydraulic hose shop can can make you one for less than $50.00.They bolt right up. I've gotten nice ones off of ebay for less than $150.00. Rebuild and new hose; less than 300 bux. It's a little work to adjust the sag because the spring adjusting rings are a little difficult to get to. A good long drift or punch makes it easier.
