    instalation of Trail tech computer

    by Vanrock » Sat Dec 03, 2005 6:16 pm

I am getting a Trail Tech Computer in 3 days for my new bike CRF150F 06 (that has only just arrived in Australia) and i just wanted to know if it is worth getting honda to put it on for me, so i dont have to bother on christmas day. has anybody else put one on and if so how long did it take and was it quiet simple.

It’s quite easy to install. The only snag I ran into was installing the magnetic bolt in the brake disk. I snapped the head off using to much torque. Just be careful with this and it should not take more than 10 or 15 min max. You will spend more time setting up the time etc than the install. The dealer would not do that for you anyway.

Here is a link to my post complaining about the bolt. It has a pic of my snapped one.
