What is the air valve on the carb

    Hey guys

    What is the air valve assembly on the top of the carb? Is it for emissions? What does it do?

    I would like to know this too.

    I think it's called an air-check valve.

    I've noticed some replacement carbs don't have them. Like the ones on ebay.
