Does anyone one make an exhaust insert that simple replaces the stock baffle for an 05" CRF230/150 & 80 that allows increased air flow but still retains some back pressure needed for good engine wear? This would seem to be a good low cost alternative to dishing out $300 for a pipe for a bike my son's will out grow in a year or so. I heard that the thrust nossle is a joke. Also when you uncork the airbox shoud you put something over the whole to avoid more dirt. Any imput?

Honda was the one that designed that baffle to be removable and they sent out the Power Up Kit Bulletin to dealers so if honda is saying that its ok to have no baffle then i thik its ok. Plus its a four stroke that dosent need that much back pressure like a two stroke. My baffle has been out for a long time and no engine problems here...

230Dad. Your other option if you did not want to completely remove the baffle would be to drill several holes in it. If you remove the baffle and inspect it you will notice you can drill 4 or 6 3/8 holes in the smaller diameter tube and also drill the closed end with a 1/2 or bigger depending on how much extra air flow you want.

PowRoll does, and Ken sells them right here on the site, great looking, 30 some bucks. We had one on my wifes TTR125 with good results, since then we've put on a FMF full system. Doug
