From the looks of it you just got a 150, master you riding skills for a year or so then move on to a 250.

    Just my $.02 cents...

Plus even when you bore out your 150, the 230 would most likely still be faster. Theres no replacment for displacement...

Actually, there's a guy over on TT that does a 188 kit for the 150 and he claims just over 18 HP. Engines Only has a -->DYNO<-- of the stock 230 claiming 16.6 HP.

Ya Coeshow does that service, but with the power up kit and other mods the 230 is close to like 18-19 and the 230 has that 6th gear so it will always win...

I don't want to argue with you, I was only trying to help answer the original question, "bore out the 150 or get a 230?"
It would be cheaper to get coeshow's 188 and a cam, 18+ HP and 22 lbs lighter.
BTW, apparently coeshow now has a 196cc kit with a new crank for the 150.

Guess you have to figure out if you want more of full size bike or a smaller bike. I look at my 150 more as a pit bike. My guess is for the money you are going to spend moving to a stock 230 (because that would your starting point) you could hop up the 150 to be competetive against the 230 on a track or in tight woods, especially if you are a smaller rider. I do see that you have a 100 too though, so maybe that should be your little thumper and you can step up to even a crf250x or crf250r.

On another note, what is coeshow?

You mean who is coeshow? He's a guy over on TT. Very knowledgable about the 150 and 230.
