I have an '03 150f and was wondering how to start it easier

fully choke it pump the throttle a few times and start it.

No need to pump the throttle...no accelerator pump.

Assuming your bike is in good mechanical shape overall...

Have you done any jetting work yet?

Fuel screw and power-up kit will help if you've not yet done it.

Recommend the fuel screw also.

It made a great difference in both our 150f and 230f.

Be sure to clean the carb while you're in there.

My bike is in mint condition,bone stock,and we have not done anything to it, and what would the power up kit or the needle help?

So if it's in mint condition has it always been hard to start when cold or has something changed lately? Have you had it since new?

Honda's are very lean and 'cold blooded' from the factory. The bigger jets will help richen the fuel mixture up and should make it easier to start and warm up when cold.

The power-up needle, along with the jets will give your bike a little more power if you open up the airbox and exhaust a little as well.

its been sitting for a while I think hondas shouldn't sit and should be ridin, I think mine is just hard to start because I havnt ridin it in a while

Did it sit with gas in the carb?

That would be the problem. Dump/drain the gas out of the tank. Take the carb off and clean it.
Clean or replace the pilot and main jets. You can also use a gas additive to help clean it. I like Sea Foam. You still need to clean the carb manually.

This happens to all bikes, not just Honda. The gas gets old and creates a varnish on the metal pieces that makes the carb not move the fuel like it was designed to do.

If you're not going to ride it for a few weeks, turn the gas off and let the bike idle until it stops. Open the drain on the bottom of the bowl and let the last drops come out of the carb. Put a fuel stabilizer in the tank (Sea Foam does this also).

I suspect this will fix u up...

Our CRF100 with exhaust started very easily, when we got the stock 150 it was very hard. It was much easier after a jet change and taking out the center exhaust part also added power.

install our PowerUp Jet kit and the fuel screw and it will help with starting.
