    Best mods?

    by Jayce » Tue Nov 17, 2009 9:31 pm

Hey my friend has either a 2003 or 2004 CRF150F, I'm not sure which year. What would be the best mods for it to get maximum power?

I put a power-up kit, Uni-filter and Pro Circuit pipe on my son's 09 150f and it runs great for a little bike. Starts right up and runs very smooth. Made a big improvement. Randy.

Hey, I'm going to revive an older post just to agree with RandMade!

No disrespect to the earlier poster who said "exhaust". that's the answer you get nine times out of ten whenever somebody posts 'what upgrades should I do to my bike'... that's the LAST thing you should do.

Sounds like I'm against aftermarket exhausts? Nope, love 'em.

What I mean is, there are too many squids who get a new bike, slap on an exhaust, and think their bike is faster.

Usually the bike is just louder with no performance gains - unless other changes are made to get the bike to BREATHE and carburete better.

So listen to RandMade: (1) Open up the airbox (2) Get a free flowing airfilter (3) Jet that puppy/powerup kit... (4) THEN get an exhaust.

The advance tinkerers can then go on to cams and big bore kits.

    Have FUN and ride SAFE!
