    Racing the CRF150

    by CrazyRF150 » Tue Sep 27, 2005 7:13 am

There is no MX class for our bikes. I am over 40 so I have raced in the Vet class, which is open, meaning you will race against 250s and 450s and well, basically get smoked, but its fun.

Around Dallas there are a number of tracks. The good ones are very tough to ride with this bike. You really need more power and better suspension.

You could race in a GNCC or WORCS race and maybe have more luck with this small bike. But still, be aware, these are not racing bikes and will not do well against $6,000 250fs and 450fs, etc. You have to do it just for fun, and it is fun.

My first race, I cased a double jump and bent a spoke. ha ha. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE! :D

well some tracks will let you run with the 85's and you may have a little luck but dont expect a first place with the 150 racing is more of a fun factor

ha, where i ride is all trails and there 85% whoops, for small swallow ones to big DEEP ones.
the guy lost control over them, bailed, his bike hit a tree snaped his bars(not stock) and bent his frame.

Check out the pit bike tracks, if there are any where you live. The 150f class is now the biggest. The 30 year old and up 16" class had 18 people on the gate.

Around here in Ohio I could race with the CRA. The class I would race in is Senior trailbike. I don't know if that helps you any.
