The problem is, I want to be able to swap back and forth between dirt and sumo, and modifying the 150f swinger will eliminate using the stock rear wheel/brake system. I suppose I could buy a spare 150rb wheel, or a spare 150f swingarm to keep the knobby wheel and drum brake on it. In any case, the 150rb swingarm will not work with the 150f shock location, so that will be going up for sale for sure.

Also, the 150r sprockets are 420, and have a 4 bolt pattern, whereas the 150f has a 520 pitch, and a 6 bolt pattern. Does someone make 520 sprockets for the 150r?

CRF150RBW rear wheels should be available on ebay. If you do the conversion and buy a 150RBW rear wheel you will have both set ups. I will bet you can sell the OEM 150f rear wheel to cover the cost of the 150R rear. I have a set of dual sport wheels that I can switch back and forth with the S/Ms.
    Where are you located?

I'm in southern Indiana. I did find a 428 conversion kit for the 150f, but would prefer to keep it 520 so I don't have to mess with front sprocket and chain swaps when I put it back into dirt mode. I might be out of luck on that one though.

EDIT- Nevermind, if I get the 428 conversion kit, I can put the sprocket on the 150f wheel and not have to swap chains or front sprocket. DUH. :D

Just did a search Looks like Sidewinder makes a 428 chain conversion for both the F and the R

I actually just emailed Sidewinder about having a 150r sprocket made in 520 pitch. They have a "build your own sprocket" deal for $89, so hopefully they can craft one up and save me the trouble of swapping everything. I'll post up when I hear from them on the matter.

I ended up getting it all swapped over, running the 150r disc brake system. I found a company in TN called Rebel Gears who cut me a few 520 pitch sprockets on 150r hub patterns. I think they were $53 each. There is a slight offset needed in the sprocket, or you can use a spacer on the brake side to get the proper chain alignment. I don't remember how much I ended up using, but I'm thinking it was nearly 3/8" offset. This does change the rear rotor's centering in the caliper though, which in turn requires the extra spacer to be added between the caliper and the swingarm, not between the wheel and caliper bracket as you would normally do.
