I have an 03 crf150 and I am finally getting around to putting a headlight on it. I yanked the stator to see where I can splice into for the light and it seems like there is no available coil to tap into like my xr200. There are three wires coming out- a black/red one, a thick blue one and a thin green one. It seems that I could use the thick blue wire but I think it is for the ignition. I just need to be able to power a 35w light and a small LED and i don't want to rewrap my stator. Does anyone have a solution to this? If not can anyone tell me how to add a lighting coil and wires to my stator? Thanks a ton.
