    Need to replace clutch

    by No. 9 » Tue Mar 04, 2008 2:53 am

Has anyone replaced a clutch on a 2004 150F? It is time to do so and want to know if OEM vs. aftermarket is the way to go and what should be replaced ???? Any help, tips and suggestions would be great.

    Steve,

never had a 150F but here's my two cents. The OEM is as good as any for clutch material unless you are racing and looking for a special property.

Usually the clutch kits from Honda will contain the metal plates, the fiber discs and the springs.

Once disassembled, check the basket for signs of notching. If good, rebuild the clutch pack and away you go.
