150 f with CR 80 rear sus spring question

    by ariel » Mon Feb 04, 2008 11:44 pm

I have a crf 150f with cr 80 forks and rear shock. I ordered springs from bbr and told them the bike I had and what my weight was. They sent me CR 80 springs but they are way to soft still almost like the stock. Because the 150f is a heavier bike shouldent they have sent me springs that were stiff enough for the 150f. My buddy who has stock suspension got his springs from bbr that are for the 150 and they are way stiffer. Are the springs for the fork and rear shock any different in a cr 80 fork and rear shock any different than the 150f. I know the forks are different but can I still run the 150f stuff in them from bbr.
Also I saw something about the links that rais the bike up a bit from bbr I do tend to drag pegs and have big feet. Dose it make the bike ride weird?

return the springs they won't work for you

You need to get a .44 springs for a cr 80 fromhttp://www.cannonracecraft.com/ and for the rear cr80/85 shock you need to get a 6.0
springs for the front and rear will set you back about 250 bucks

You are correct the cr80 stock springs are too weak for a crf150f
