    What To Do

    by Worldzenemies » Sun Jun 05, 2005 10:57 am

Alright, after a lot of previous experience with bikes, I ahve decided to purchase a brand new 05 CRF150 tommorrow. THe question is, after riding teh 150 many times, I continually ahve problems with the front end "slipping out" from under. No, I do not fall, just get a very good case of wobble. Is there anything to correct this? Also,I ordered a 12 toot sprocket which is a downgrade of 1 tooth from teh stock 13t. THis is in teh front. Do you supposse this will get me up hills better and give me the extra push I need as I ahve noticed teh 150 lacks push, but excels in speed. Now, wheelies. For one, thsi machine can not pull them. Will teh 12t in anyway help me get the front end up. The TTR125L is a great wheelie machine.
Any other mods or tips to help me enjoy this bike just taht much better is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    Chris

A smaller sprocket in the front will give you more torque..it is like adding adding a bigger sprocket in the back with three more teeth..but when you make the front sprocket smaller it is hard on your chain.

hey, i ahve the bike now! i love it, except for the starting. if soemone wants easy starting, sway away from teh 150. as far as wheelieing, not a problem. everything's going great.
