you've had your bike for a year and never changed the oil? That's not good. I change mine every 3-4 rides, which is lot less that the recomended interval of 600 miles/1000kms.

A whole year with out an oil change? Remind me to never buy a used bike from you!

I change my oil every other race, which amounts to around 10 to 20 miles depending on the size of the track. Overkill? Maybe, but it's cheap engine insurance. Honda oil costs $3.95 a quart. An engine rebuild costs what, 500-700 dollars? I can buy a WHOLE bunch of oil for that kind of money.

There is a cap under the shifter take that off and rember how it all came out. Wire filter spring cap let the oil drian complety out. After it is all out lay the bike on it side (turn gas off) put new oil in where the old came out put wire filter in first the spring then cap put cap back on stand bike up. Run a min or so then stop it and check it with the dip stick. (Takes one Cort) Dont use regular motor oil form peppoys or what ever get it from your local honda dealer. Because it lubracates your trani and your engine. Alec

ONE YEAR? Suprise your engine is not gone.
