I bottomed my fork, so?

    I bottomed my fork, so?

    Today I jumped, go into small whoops,

    but I heard BANG when I landed in a hill, it wasnt too horrible but It scared me

    so what now, I damaged my fork or it is okay?

    Most likely you just bottomed out without any damage. I do that on my 450X just now and then. Hit a hole that had a square edge right after landing from a bump and my forks bottomed. No damage. If you don't bottom now and then you are not using the entire stroke of the fork. If you bottom a lot then you may need stronger springs.

    Ya, i bottom my 150 alot, just the forks, it sounds like somthing snapped in half.

    my forks used to bottom out alot on my 04 150F, until finally it got bad enough the seals busted, had to replace them, and get joker aggressive springs.

    no mine are fine, I botomed them soo much now, i need to change bike cause im too aggressif and i dont have enuf power blahblah

    it is really a trail bike, dont jump or race that, it will cost money to repair

    yeah, my 230F did the same thing today. but i pulled back in the shop to check it over, and no oil was leaking, and everything was still tightly mounted. and when i took it back out riding i jumped it a couple times, very carefully, and the shocks still seemed to work smoothly.
    i'm about to put very heavy oil in them, i don't have the money to get springs right now, but it's a temporary half-fix.
