    spark arrester?

    by ship_killer6666 » Thu May 17, 2007 6:17 pm

I was thinking to remove my spark arrester before going to SRA MX TRACK because I wanted to make noise, I asked my dad, he said it make less resistance and it can burn the valve?!

is that true? I don't want to damage my bike!!

    Yes.

Increasing flow can cause a lean condition which can burn a valve. Also they require a certain amount of backpressure. Leave it alone until you re-jet.
