    Exhaust

    by hart150F » Fri Apr 06, 2007 6:41 pm

Does anyone have an idea of a place around Pittsburgh where I can buy a dual exhaust system for my 2006 CRF150f ? I looked at Tom Clarke Motosports and they didnt seem to have any. Is it possible to cut and weld a right and left side exhaust system to merge and create a dual exhaust system? My budget is about $400-$500. Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Zach

If your budget is $500 then skip the exhaust system for now and get a big bore kit (Engines only or BBR). You'll get the most horsepower that way. Most exhaust systems will give you minor hp gains (but almost always sound louder).

I'm just curious, but do they even make left sided exhaust systems? It seems possible by just turning a right sided exhaust system [---= upside down and around
    =---]

Why do you want a left side exhaust? It sounds like a lot of extra work to me.

dual exhaust doeesnt add power. The price of pipes isnt worth the hp save your money. I used to have a 150 my advice is to take out your baffle, keep your filter clean, mess around with gearing, change your oil, and keep fresh rubber on it and pratice.

I know that the 2007 250r has a stock dual exhaust, I was just wondering if they sold dual exhaust systems for the 150f.
