jeeez your a small unit. im 13 and 5"9 and about 85kgs. for your height and size i would go with a 2005 crf150, but by the time your about 5"5 -5"6 it will be becoming to small. the power on it isnt overly great but will do about 90-95 kph with someone of your size on it (estimate). the 150 is very easy to kick over aswell, and good for donuts i found out today 8)

    perfectly right, Vanrock
    1lb ~ 450g or 1Kg ~ 2.2lb

just spend 4 days on closed course and artificial trails
out trainer said the 150 was tricky to start, so I first picked an 05'150, later I grabbed whatever and now am pretty familiar with the 05'230 and the 06'150 as well, all stock

funny, seasoned streetriders had a hard time starting the 150 on a cold morning, they all lacked that twitch of the wrist, she asks for

the seat height did not seem so much different between the 150 and 230, but the 230 felt a lot clumsier in slow technical exercises, the 150 seemed a lot easier to control on lose surface, and she did a lot better an tough, tight trails than I thought, even with my 165lb in gear she was very managable in a rocky creek or on a washboard

I did not feel much of a difference between the 150s, in fact, kept looking for the kickstarter on the 06
since I ride all kinds of bikes and am used to my 350lb dualsport, all ~200lb small wheel bikes feel 'tiny'

what CRF is better for you, Vanrock?
how much experience do you have?
how about your sheer strength and stamina?
what kind of riding are you looking into?
the tighter, the more technical, the more I'd tend to the 150
the faster, the more wide-open the more I'd suggest the 230
do you feel comfortable on the 230? or does it feel huge and heavy? can you pick it up 3,4,5 times in a row without being exhausted?

We just bought (2) 2006 150's and they are a great bike.

Are they hard to start? NOPE.
Are they aggravating to get warmed-up enough to ride? YEP.
Are they a motocross racer? NOPE.
Are they a great trail bike? YEP.

Bottom line is......they are EXACTLY what Honda claims that they are.....a great bike for adults and older children to ride in a casual manner. Anyone who complains and criticizes this bike because of the fact that it is slow, has a weaker suspension, or doesn't blow flames out the exhaust obviously didn't do their research before they spent their money. If you want to race, you're on the wrong bike.

Ok thats pretty good. One thing in Australia it is easy to warm up your bike like our quad we have never used the choke ( maybe in winter) but in summer it is like 28degrees ( soz dont know faranhite) so i dont think that will be a problem. Is the electric start good. Um also does it feel heavier then the 05 model??

I have riden alot of quads every shape and size but i am not super confident on the 2 wheelers.
I am quiet small for my age and my strenght is adverage(i can pick up the 150 but the 230 is hard)
We like on a farm and we have a few jumps, but know racing at this stage.
I can just lift up the 230 but like once.

    Thanks[/quote]
